  • Information about our Concert Fundraiser
I would like to take the opportunity to thank each and everyone who is supporting us through the purchase of tickets/vouchers to our family oriented events. The Johnson City Fire Fighters Association represents approximately 98% of Fire Fighters in the city of Johnson City. Our members are employed by the city of  Johnson City. We represent the Association and operate as our own entity separate from the city. For your information, we are not a charity but a non-profit Professional Organization. Therefore your ticket/voucher purchases are not tax deductible as a charitable contribution for Federal Income Tax. Through the purchase of your tickets/voucher, you are enabling The Fire Fighters to carry on with the many outstanding programs and other member benefits of the Johnson City  Fire Fighters Association. The Fire Fighters of our nation are rated as having one of the most hazardous occupations in terms of death and injury. Working with citizens of Johnson City and the surrounding areas, perhaps we can change these statistics.
    Sincerely,
    Charlie Ihle, President

We're still a bit old fashioned here, we believe in the people of Johnson City, and know that when it comes to character we consider the people of East Tennessee to be among the HIGHEST of any. Our fundraiser is operated on an honor system, when we call to tell you about our show and what we are doing it for, we trust the folks in the community that tell us they want to help out.
